He is mostly opposed to bloodshed, but as an obligate carnivore hunts with minimal qualms. He particularly dislikes killing in self defense anything that can speak. He follows the principle of "first, do good, second do no harm" like many healers throughout history.
He cares deeply for the wellbeing of those in his vicinity, and so mostly tries to travel without attracting too much attention to his species to avoid discrimination, alarm, and deadly confrontations. For their sake, since he so hates to kill them.
