Marriage vows? / I don't care! Leave her spouse? / She wouldn't dare! Some say my actions cause much pain I say the world is what to blame My wife won't be my ball and chain No oath my freedom will restrain Though to the strong I'll bow and scrape Until I make a safe escape Or bide my time til I can break Their hold and then their power take! We swear our promises with all our heart But when things change they tend to fall apart Sometimes within a marriage One's love just fades away And when that happens there's no cause to stay Marriage vows? / I don't care!
