It’s not that easy bein’ red
Having to spend each day
The color of blood
When I think it would be nicer
Bein’ blue or yellow or green
Or something much less dangerous like that.

It’s not easy bein’ red
It seems no one knows
Who you are or cares if you live
And people tend to shoot you a lot
‘Cause its your job to die
To protect people on the starship
Who have plot armor.

But red’s the color of love
And red can be bold and sacrifice
And red can be strong like a fire
Or important like a captain who likes earl grey tea
When red is who you chose to be
It could make you wonder why
Buy why wonder, why wonder?

I am red and I’ll live my time
I’ll sacrifice. Because that’s who I want to be.
