G C F G7 C F I'll call the dealer maybe he'll know. "Ah," said the dealer, "I see your problem, It's that your modem doesn't like mice. Here," he said grandly, "try running this way, That ought to solve it take my advice." Next day while writing, deep in WordPerfect, My new computer hiccuped again. Now it just sits there, making up errors; I'd get more done with paper and pen. "Oh," said the dealer, sounding bewildered, "Are you quite sure your software is clean? My diagnostics can't find a problem; Whatever's wrong, it's not your machine." Next day the dealer phoned with a message: My new computer would be recalled. There'd been an error in manufacture Which explained why my system had stalled. Now my computer does what I tell it, And I am almost done with my song. That is, at least till next time you see me, By which time something else will go wrong.
